Who We Are
Healing starts with feeling grounded, steady in your body, anchored in the present, and supported in your full humanity. We, here at Roots to Ground Counseling, are here to help you strengthen your foundation so you can gently untangle what weighs you down and grow toward connection, confidence, and joy. With whole-person care and grounding-based tools, we help you root into yourself, so you can grow into a warmer, more developed life that feels true, intentional, and worth celebrating.
Healing through grounding and presence
We help you root into your body and the earth beneath you, finding steadiness, safety, and belonging in the present moment.
Whole person care as sacred work
Your mind, body, emotions, and spirit are honored as interconnected and worthy of gentle, reverent care.
Growing toward connection and joy
We support you in releasing what weighs you down and growing into a life that feels intentional, alive, and true to you.
Services
At Roots to Ground Counseling, our services are offerings of care, spaces to slow down, reconnect, and tend to what matters most. Based in Colorado Springs, we provide grounded, whole-person care that honors your story and supports meaningful healing, whether you are seeking support for yourself, your relationships, your family, or your growth as a clinician. Our services are available in person and online in Colorado Springs and via telehealth to clients in New Mexico.
OUR MISSION
At the heart of our work is a deep commitment to the kind of world we hope to live in, one rooted in justice, compassion, and belonging. We believe in a shared humanity where people are free to be fully themselves, connected through our common human experience rather than divided by fear or exclusion.
At Roots to Ground Counseling, we strive to create a space where all are welcomed and affirmed, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, class, mental health, physical differences, or ability. Our work is guided by the belief that healing happens best in communities where dignity, safety, and authenticity are honored.

We see you. We hear you. We're here to walk alongside you.
Our services are offered to those navigating mental health challenges, as well as to those simply seeking a place to slow down, speak openly, and make sense of their lived experience. Whether you are carrying something heavy or feeling called toward deeper understanding and growth, we provide a supportive, grounding space to explore, process, and reconnect with yourself and the world around you.
Land Acknowledgement
Pikes Peak is the ancestral and present home of many Native nations and holds deep spiritual significance as a sacred mountain to numerous tribes. At least 48 federally recognized tribes have longstanding relationships with the Colorado landscape, including but not limited to the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, Ute Mountain Ute Indian Tribe, Ute Indian Tribe of the Uintah and Ouray Reservation, Jicarilla Apache Nation, Comanche Nation, Pawnee Nation, Kiowa Tribe, Northern Arapaho Tribe, Northern Cheyenne Tribe, and the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes. We honor these nations as the original and enduring stewards of this land, and we hold gratitude for the healing wisdom, grounding traditions, and whole-person connection to the earth that continue to inspire our work, our care, and our commitment to collective well-being.
